The Author

Scott is just this guy, you know? He is an IT professional with over 30-years experience, a husband, cat dad, writer, and old-school hacker. His favorite computer language is Scheme, but he’ll settle for Ruby or Python.

He is a polyglot developer and is active in the bug bounty and open source communities.

He once founded and served as the lead developer on khaOS Linux, an ultra-secure distribution of the Linux operating system.

He lives in Las Vegas, Nevada (36.17497, -115.13722), a sunny place for shady people. He is natively fluent in English, and is learning Spanish.

He used to like hiking, and still has a pair of good boots, but he just isn't certain any longer. It could be the fact that he hiked the Appalachian Trail from Georgia until he came to his senses in Pennsylvania. He enjoys live music and theater when he can get away and studying code vulnerabilities when he can't. He plays Chess over the Internet and Go in-person and over-the-board.
